How can I recover the SMS stored in the MMC in My Folders?

Hi all,

Yesterday I made a hard reset to my N70 since I was having problems to let Google maps properly work due to a incompatiility with a program.

After that I realised that I had lost my SMS, stored all of them in My Folders in the MMC. I made a full backup of the MMC in my PC so I suppose that somewhere I could find the SMS files. Can anyone help me to find them?.

I'd just copy them again in the MMC and it should work.

Silly question but... If you have done a hard reset, have you gone to your message settings and changed the option to store messages on the MMC and not phone memory? Remember that the setting will be reset back to default (store msgs in phone memory) after a format. If you switch off the handset after making the change and then switch back on, I would have thought your SMS's would come back.

Apologies if you have done this and are still finding problems.

Maybe I haven't explained well. I formatted the MMC since some of my problems were certainly related with the programs installed there.

What I have is the old MMC files stored in the PC and I just want to copy now in the MMC the files corresponding to the SMS's. It is not a problem of configuration in the phone, which by the way I do have changed to store the SMS in the MemoryCard as you say in your post.

Any hep in that respect?
