Web browser in landscape mode

Hi,

Just got my N80 yestrerday, and the web browser is amazing!

I was just wondering if there is a way to put it into landscape mode though so that you can turn the phone on its side and have a wider display that way.

I can find an option to do this anywhere!

Anyone help?

Thanks.

Chris.

The N80 doesn't support rotating the screen, exept for the gallery app. But i have a theory, that if you copy the sreen rotating app from an E60 and put it on an N80, it will rotate the screen.

that's a shame. I might give it a go. I am shocked it doesnt do it as stanbdard, seems obvious to me - but then again, everything does 😉

It is a shame, but I think it has something to do with the N80 being a bit of and odd man out on screen resolutions. Most other S60 3rd Edition phones with high res screens are QVGA.

I suspect the rotate function was a casualty of slipping shipping dates. It is a shame since browsing was one of the things that benefited most from landscape orientation.

lets hope a FW update solves it!

Only had my N80 2 days, but already in love with it and that was coming from a p910i as well which was cool!
