I'm not sure if this has been brought up or not, if it has, then i apologise, after i've sent the contacts.cdb to my computer, how can i view it? or use it as back up? i had the thought of formatting my phone, and just sending the file back to my phone, would that work?

The jist is.. its a Symbian File type, hence u cant open it in windows environment.
