Remote Desktop Software?

Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone might be able to let me know if there's any remote desktop software out for the S60 platform?

I've just ordered my N80 from Orange so hopefully, even if there's nothing I can use just now, there will be some good stuff coming out soon. I just wish logmein.com would release a Symbian client for their software!

Thanks,

Greg

There ARE remote desktop apps for S60, but they're all still for the 2nd Edition and 1st Edition S60, and the N80 is 3rd edition.

3rd edition S60 is radically different to its predecessors so it requires developers to alter their apps a bit so they can work on the new phones.

All the big S60 developers are gradually working their way through their existing software to make it compatible with the new standard so there's probably a remote desktop app on the way, we just don't know when. 🙄

I have Nokia N97 phone and I am looking for remote desktop software to access a few computers running Windows Server 2008 or 2003. It would be nice if this software will allow access to my home computer with Vista as well. What remote desktop software is the best fit for this task for N97 phone?
So far I have found that exist a following options.
1. TSMobile
2. RDM+
3. VNC+
4. SymRDP

Does anyone have first hand experience with all four? Short comparison?
All software products are in similar price range around 40 $USD except VNC+ is for 30 $USD.
Basically the same price and considering description all these should work on N97 for remote computer access.
What would be the best option?
