Bah Darwin is a plagurist muppet who's theory still isn't fact. At least Brunel was substantial.

Some would say that Darwin's theory has been widey accepted as fact... forgetting middle-America of course 😉... And by "plagurist" I assume you mean "plagiarist" (I'm not trying to correct your spelling, I'm just double-checking what you actually mean). I've not heard the theory that he copied his ideas on evolution from somewhere... can you elaborate?

Another scientist actually came up with the idea and research for it, Darwin copied him after getting some letters off him and stole all the credit. As for accepted as fact, has to have proof to be a real fact, hence why it is still referred to as the theory of evolution.

I was always under the impression that Darwin came up with the general ideal and then sat and pondered it for 20 odd years. He was finally kicked into action by a letter from Alfred Russel Wallace, who had come to almost identical conclusions. They published a joint paper, and in 1859 Darwin published his controversial book On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection.
