As far as I got deep down the posts in AAS, there`s no way to do it. That pic is in the z:Rom drive, the One you cam Copy and play with it, but can`t edid.

How come people with a 7650 get a tool to play around on their ROM drive, but we don't??? That's sooooo unfair, it would have *huge* skinning potential.

this is the step to see drive z:
1. open file manager
2. press ++sp
3. open settings in file manager, set show ROM to yes
4. close file manager, and open again

There is another way to change the startup picture (4096 colors) not on the phone but on the PDA.
You should edit .INI file. Or dissamble it from SDK. I still don't know what it mean until now.
My friend told me that. He has already dissambled it and it works but he won't teach me.
Please let me know if one of you know how to make it works.
