I've loaded my 1gig samsun Rs-DV with 70-75 mp3's all 128kbps+.
I go to the Gallery - Sound - All Songs
Some processor bar shows up and bam! Goes back to the previous gallery screen.
I do it again, i open the music application now, and select 'all songs' again, and it the program shuts itself down and goes back to the home screen.
However, i can still play the songs from 3rd party apps like POWERmp3.
Anyways, this seems like an issue which should be addressed at the next firmware upgrade, because i'm already on the latest one.
(btw can anybody else confirm this gltich on their N70??)
No such problems for me and I have 107 MP3 songs stored in E:\Sounds\Digital
The card is a Moby memory 1GB card.
However my menu structure in the Gallery app is slightly different. If I click on the Gallery Icon there is a approx 15 second delay before the following menu appears:
Images & video
Tracks
Sound clips
Links
All files
Clicking on Tracks or All files brings up an instant list of relevant media. Tracks - lists all MP3's and All files - lists all images, videos & sounds.
Firmware: Orange variant V2.0537.1.7, 18-09-05, RM84.

i have the same problem with the music player. in order for the player to work i separated my music files into 2 folders. if i merge them the player displayes: "A processar" and exists. It must be some kind of a bug.
Also, my phone stays about 15-20 seconds as well, before showing the Gallery Menu.
I don't have so much mp3s on my phone but what I realize is when I go to profiles to choose an mp3 to set as ringtone they are not all there. There are 4 mp3's of the 7mp3 files that are on the phone. I installed the ringtone patch but that didn't change the situation. Do you got the same problem aswell?

It's Gallery being fussy, one or more of your MP3s is probably corrupt in some subtle way. Best to copy tracks on and off and use trial error, to find the culprits.
