OP logo things

If it does not show logos,what do you have in the upper left corner,where the logo is suposed to be?

There is a text: DNA
And its written there with the font on the phone.
It cant be replaced with anything on 7650 because the phone gets it
from sim. I hope that it gets corrected on next version of DNA's sim card.

With my Vodafone card (Portugal), it happens the same... the logo apear only for 2-3sec, then it disapear and i get VODAFONE wtitten with the font of the pnohe, as the same as i don't have any op logo

Well,actually you both have logos,DNA and Vodafone,the logo cant be changed because is hardcoded on the sim.

Well, I dont think that its really a _logo_, but just text written to that space.
Its just like programs write text there too, and those are not logos.

Maybe,but what about Vodafones logo? I dont think its text.

with my Sonera SIM card I dont have to name the logo. I just open File Manager and put logo to the right place and select 'Set as Operator Logo' 😉

i have vodafone (portuguese) and i dont have any problem with my phone. i own a 7650 for 2 or 3 months here and the logo was always there for me😃

Piikki,that is because SeleQ does it for you.The Operator Logo must have the preset dimensions.

lag-a-lize,we are not talkin about the Operator Logo that was set by your operator logo but custom operator logos,like nude chicks and ber botles 😊

Did you get that SIM with the phone? What happens when you put it on
phone without colour screen? (if its a colour picture)

I think that it can be stored on sim as pure text or as a picture.
But it cant be changed (easily).

I know why its like that though, its because atleast here, we who are on
operator DNA, use 2G's network. which is same as DNA.
so the SIM is a generig one, so it can work on any phone. (without color
screen) otherwise on the screen it would say 2G, not DNA.

hope that makes some sense... been using almost too much beer again. 😃

Yes,you do make sense,but my point was that it does not matter if its text or picture,it is Operator logo.
