Where can I find compatiable software for my N80?
Software must be S60 3rd Edition / N80 compatiable if it comes as a .sis file (i.e. native application). Java programs (.jar) files should install, but may not work fully (entirely dependent on program - a common issue may be not using the full screen or fonts being too small).
You can find a list of software for your phone here:

Help I'm having trouble installing .sis files
If you are having trouble installing programs (.sis files) you need to make sure that they are compatiable (S60 3rd Edition / N80) and you need to make sure you have the settings in your phone configured to allow software installation.
In App Manager go to settings and make sure 'Software Installation' is set to All and 'Online cerif check' is off.
Note some have reported variations on this dialog (e.g. Options -> Defintion -> Allows software install -> set yes). The tick is to make sure software installation is set to yes.
Phone tries to install program at startup but fails, try to install again at next start up.
If you go to the Manager applications (found under Tools) you get a list of installed applications and available installation files. You should be able to install the files your phone is trying to install from here (if you have problems check you have the settings correct to allow software installation) OR you can delete them.
At a guess I would say it is programs like Catalogs / Mobile Search / Nokia Games etc. that the phone is trying to install for you.

Can anyone tell me if FExplorer or AppMan are available for 3rd series symbian phones yet? I used then lots on my other series 60 phones and I miss their functionality.
I have SExplorer, but it won't let you do stuff with the files, just look around a bit. 😊

http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/49710/nothing of these works on mine N 80
im totaly ..&*#% 😞 i want Smartmovie but it wont install .. certificate i tried all (and many reboots) but nothing works!
I have only had my N80 since Friday, but I have spent more time with Nokia Help Desk than I have using it. Looking for a book reading application with a sis extension. Am told Mobipocket has one but the N80 wont accept any of the ones Ihave tried. Any suggestions please. I thought Symbian was compatable with Mobi, but we know what thought did!
Any helpful info would be appreciated.
Thanks
