but how many of this is used for RAM? I'd like to keep the available RAM to a maximum so the cpu doesnt slow down as much...

The 80MB _Flash_ memory is separate from the RAM (operating memory). The CPU will not slow down no matter how much RAM is used. In fact, it is wise to keep all your most used apps open at all times, because that will make switching between apps/task much faster.

More than enough. 😉 48MB AFAIK, with about 25MB free. Which is plenty in the Symbian world. Enough to keep at least 10-12 apps open at all times.
