helo to everyone,
can someone pls give me the steps on how to format and reinstall the softwares to my communicator. how will i know if my software from my cd is compatible to my communicator, pls help. my unit version is 5.34. tnx

Formatting the MMC:

Open file manager, MENU, MEMORYCARD, FORMAT

Once your MMC has been formatted, remove the battery from your 9210, replace battery. After about 3 seconds (before startup logo appears) press CTRL&SHIFT&F, this will bring you to the format screen. This may take a few tries as the timing is hard to do.

Select format.
Connect 9210 to PC and reinstall the 2 main Nokia .SIS files (Allnokia9210adat and allnokiammcdata).

REMEMBER TO BACK ANY DATA YOU NEED FIRST.

I always sugest to make a backup after a clean Install.

This will save some time and you will be shure that you haven`t missed anything in your inslatation.

ok thank you very much guys.
if i already back up my files, do i have to install the two .sis files? or just restore the last backup from the pc?

Never needed to backup yet, but normally you won`t have to install again.

Tip:

If you are using Outlook, do the backup after sync with outlook. In this way you can win +60 minutes needed for contacts.
(Or save contacts.cdb) 😉
