Also, my epson r300's card reader doesnt read it when it is in the adapter

Hi
My 2gig card arrived yesterday, having experience of card recognition from other devices (PocketPC etc) I formatted the 2Gig on my pc prior to turning phone off etc remove card insert new card turn it on, the other reason i formatted it on the pc was I had copied my 128mb which came with the phone off onto the pc and then copied all the stuff back to the card.
As i recall when you look at the files on your card on a pc there is card id file that needs to be copied back.

Admittedly this is not a neat solution when you're stood outside a Dixons or whatever with a new card in your hand 😊

I can now get an hour of video on the 2 gig card, not that I'm about to shoot a muvee(groan) on it 😊

Probably not same problem as you but I got a 2GB MiniSD that was dead (could see it on the pc but couldn't format it). Phone didn't recognise it. Got it replaced and the world was a happy place again.

Dear keith ross,

Hi Keith,

We have received your returned faulty 2gb Mini SD Card - many thanks.
We have recently discovered that there appears to be a manufacturing fault with these cards, as for some reason they do not work with Nokia phones (although they work fine with all other phones). Therefore, if we send you a replacement card, there is a very high likelihood that this card will not work either, causing you further inconvenience. I therefore suggest that we issue you a full refund via your paypal account.
Please advise whether this is acceptable, and I will issue you the refund immediately.
Again, we are very sorry for this inconvenience, and we have discontinued using this supplier in question.

my n80 did this for a while with the supplied card. i think it may be because i removed the card without selecting the remove card option in the start menu. after i did this, all seems fine again🙄
