play mp3 from wifi external drive ?

Does anyone know if the 9500 would recognise and allow me to access an external wifi drive (link below) and enable me to stream mp3's ?

Not seen this device before, but looking at the specs on the scan site I would say .. No the 9500 will not 'see' it.

It looks like it advertises itself on the LAN (wireless or not) via SMB. This is the system that Windows and Samba use to allow file sharing. As the 9500 cant 'see' SMB and cant browse to a windows file share it will not be able to use this device. :frown:

Thanks BB . . . oh well just a dream I had 🙄 I'm afraid I don't know enough about wifi . . .

Does anyone know if wifi mp3 streaming would be possible any other way
