Hello,
just wanted to ask that on maximum , how much can i free-up the internal memory of nokia 6630 ? besides this , is there any way to directly receive my files (songs, games, applications ) into memory card ??

😎 you can easily modify your msg inbox by going in your mobile menu like this:
>MESSAGING>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>OTHER>MEMORY IN USE

:icon4: Thats it so simple!obviously you should have a memory card:tongue: !

note, you should use a program like FExplorer to transfer the system/mail folder to system/mail on the memory card if you want to keep your messages

the first time you change the memory, the phone asks you if you want to transfer the messages. after that, it never asks again.

use the latest FExplorer 1.16 as it can copy files in use by the system. c:/system/mail/index.dat is in use by the system (when message memeory is set to phone) and cannot be deleted or overwritten, so you must copy this folder (c:/system/mail) to the memory card e:/system/mail, then switch the message memory in use (if you have switched it before and you want to keep your messages)

note, messages take up huge amounts of space. I have 400 messages received, 500+ messages sent and the c:/system/mail folder is 4.5 megs
on my 8 meg memory this is a lot, but i dont want to use my 1 gig card for messages a tthe moment..

and ya one thing more
internal memory of ma mobile shows 7196 Kb free , and 2732 kb used
however, i havent got any messages now, nor installed any files on the internal memory , den which thing is using this 2732 kb ?
