Problem with submission to Symbian Signed "Unallocated UID/SID"

1 replies · 0 views · Started 26 May 2006

When I submit a .zip file containing a .sis file, .pkg file and
readme.txt file I receive message that says "Unallocated UID/SID:
xxxxxxxx. Check that all the UIDs used in your SIS (including the UID
used in your .pkg) file correspond to those allocated to you by Symbian
from www.symbiansigned.com."

The UID doesn't match any that are used anywhere in our code or package
files.

Does anyone have any clues what we could do about this?

Neil

You will probably need to email the file to [email protected] for
analysis.

Its possible you're getting the wrong error - are you sure you are using
your allocated UIDs in all your binaries?
