hey everyone, my 6600 isnt turning on, it comes to the Nokia screen, then reboots 3 or 4 times not goin any further than the Nokia screen, then gives up n turns off, i have read the full fone formatting sticky thread and i know what to do, my only problem is that my contacts are saved in my fone memory and so how can i back them up to the SIM card, when the fone isn't starting ??? HELP !

I had the same problem with my old N-Gage. It's known in the technical circles as the White Screen of Death. Unfortunately, the only solution is to reflash the phone. Whatever's on the phone's memory is gone unless you have the means to pull the data straight off the chips.
