Hi,

I just bought nokia n80 and have some questions:

Is it possible to have timed profile defined:

e.g. at night silent
day general ?

Is there an opera browser available for n80 or you have to use mini opera?
The same question for pdf reader.

Is there an autolock feature?

Linux software similar to PC suite?

IM software (icq, msn, ...)
Does IM built in work with icq, msn, yahoo ....?

Tnx in advace.
G

Regarding IM software I use eMSN which is great. I only connect to MSN so don't know about other networks. I use it with the Nokia SU-8W BT keyboard which is also great.

Where you can define autolock?
As far as I know you can only lock phone by yourself clicking on yes after you close it.

check this page occationally, to see when a version for the N80 will be ready:

http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/

I've installed Opera for the N91 on my N80 and it works really well. Full screen, zooming, fit to screen width etc.. Looking good. Not sure what they are changing for the N80.

I'm using the N91 version of Opera as well, works fine. Don't think it's anywhere near as good as the new web browser from Nokia that's built in to the N80, brilliantly designed. Well, it would be if the phone didn't run out of available memory all the bloody time.... 😡

I was talking about the phone lock code not the keypad lock.

The built in IM will not work with Yahoo etc unless your operator supports this (most don't at the moment).

There no PC Suite for Linux but you can find various utilities that may help you mount it. It shoudl work as a USB Mass Storage Device without any problem.

There are no timed profiles, Extended Profiles is not 3rd Edition compatiable (yet) so will not work.

A PDF reader is available on the Nokia site I believe.
