Wi-fi Range Poor

does anyone know what the range of the wi-fi is, I am right next to my router now, and my laptop says 100% and my n80 says 4%, if I am connected to the home media server , I can stop and start mp3s on my pc when im next to it, but if I go out of the room it doesnt work, surley the range of the n80 can't be that poor

yeah it cant be that poor. havent heard of that problem before. havent bought my n80 yet and dont know if i will soon. ALOT of problems with the first batch. sucks

anyway, try out the manual or something.. boos up the power somehow. or check QOS on your router (quality of service)

The range isn't as good as any wireless laptop I've come across, but there again I wouldn't expect it to be. Laptops have room for bigger batteries and bigger antennas.

I don't have a much of a problem getting a WLAN connection anywhere in my house, but there again I have two access points and thin brick walls. My folks live in an old stone cottage with really thick walls. I don't fancy my chances of getting a strong signal if I'm not in the same room as their one access point.

I live in an old Victorian house with super thick walls and I don't notice much difference from my Wifi equipped computers. I'm happy with the Wifi capabilties of the phone myself.
