I have a backup copy of my old N70 file (*.nfb) in my PC. However after installing the new PC Suite that came along with the N80, I cannot do a restore. Each time the PC suite scans the folder it say no backup file found. I have placed the (*.nfb) file in the nokia folder.
My current Nokia PC Suite version 6.7 while the Nokia Suite used to backup the N70 is version 6.6
Any ideas how I can recover my data? I have hundreds of contacts in that N70 file that I need to transfer ASAP to my new N80
Best way is backup phone memory to the mem card.
Tools>Memory>backup phone to Memory card. This will create a backup file on the MMC.
Copy that backup folder from your MMC to your new Mini SD and choose the restore option from the same menu on your N80.

Thats wat I plan to do from onwards, but for the existing problem I cant afford to do that. I dont have my N70 with me anymore as its been stolen recently hence the upgrade to N80.
Any other way???
I have always found PC Suite dodgy when it comes to resoring to different devices.
You may need to get hold of an N70 and restore to that and then do the method I mentioned.
Yeah . guess thats the only option I have. Need to wait for my bro to come back from Philip's and hopefully he've not changed his phone as well. Thanxie
