Starting Out With C++ on S60

I'm sorry if this has already been explained in the starting out thread, but I tried to wade through the information there and alot seems very confusing or out of date!

Basically, I've done some C++ programming before using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and .net - mainly command line stuff and NOT GUI stuff.

I've found this page http://forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,034-4,00.html - but theres loads of different downloads?!

What bits of the "SDK" do I need and what do they do? I've got a Nokia 6680 with S60 2nd Edition.

You may want to try Nokia's Carbide C++.
The carbide c++ express edition is free to use and can be downloaded from nokia forum.
If you use this then you also need to install perl.
Since you already have the Series 60 SDk installed, these are the three different tools you need to get started.
