Ive set up my mobile with clara.net as my ISP, they have a local 0207 number which you can use (instead of 0845) when I got my bill I found that this came out of my free mins ,- which wouldnt be the case with 0845 no.s- .. and its not charged as a data call either..!! anyone else tried this..??

yeh just goto http://www.uk.clara.net/homeaccess/ and sign up for local rate access.. once registered use these settings..

I can't find the "Local Rate Access" option... I've found free ones, broadband, fixed montly fee, but no local rate! Can someone post the URL please?
The 0207 number is wrong. It is someones private number. I could only see 0845 numbers on the claranet site.
Please repost the dialup number.

😊, you'll be able to, but it will probably cost a bomb. I'm on a tariff where I get free calls to local numbers (which includes 0207xx...) so I will get free access, once I get a username and password!

Go to this page and sign up for the unlimited free trial. Once you register use the settings given by mcse17 but use 020 7906 6161 for the dial up no.
It works for me but i hope i don't get charged the orange rate for high speed gsm. Going over 14400 kbps is charged at 25p per min. If not it will come out my talk plan free mins.

Yeh sorry about the typo with the dialup.. you can check if your being charged for the call by contacting your CS for your mobile..

But remember it can take up to 72 hours for the calls to show up... that's how it is on t-mobile, not sure about the rest.
