Read the first post in this thread and it will give you downloads and instructions to install yourself (it looks like you need V02 firmware).
If you dont feel comfortable with that then you will need to go to your nearest nokia service center and ask them to do it for you.
Thanks a lot guys, it worked on my N80 (v02).. You're great, it's hard to find a NOKIA Service here, and they charge you a lot..
my version is:
V 3.0614.0.3
11-04-2006
RM-92
NOKIA N80(11)
I don't see my version in any of the updates. Is it ok for me to use a different version? If so, which one would you recommend? I live in the United States, so no Nokia service centers here for now.
thanks for your time

I wouldn't like to say if you can use any other update as you live in the US and not sure how the other versions would effect your phone, V01 has English, but it is British English as opposed to that strange American English (sorry, had to get a dig in there 😊).
If I come accross V11 I wil let you know 😊
Got my n80 updated at last. Web browser is so much faster than before, And has not crashed once yet! Im posting from it now. memory management is definatly better, apps respond a lot faster.

I had this problem too but flashed my phone sucessfully - just make sure your battery is charged....
.....you have to find the drivers yourself - when it asks for the drivers - click 'find or browse yourself' they should be in C: PROGRAM FILES / NOKIA / CABLE - you'll have to do this 3 or 4 times as it finds all the N80 USB Modem ?etc etc!
Hope it works for you!
Posting from my n80 now after flashing it..no more low memory on the web browser, and everything appear's much quicker. Great stuff.
