sms sending here in my country is shredding my wallet
a good bluetooth messaging software could help me if i want to send a message to someone next door

I haven't heard of one yet, although a few people have said what a good idea it would be. How about asking a developer to make you one in the C++ Symbian forum?
I dont see how Bluetooth Messages can help you in your dilema, given the very limited range. But still, if u are able to locate your neighbours device on ur phone, you can do this
From PC to Phone : Use notepad to write message > Right click > Send to Bluetooth ( or drag and drop to public folder of the device)
You will receive this message on phone as anyother message.
From Phone to PC: Use Notes ( Favourites > Notes > Write message > Options > Send > Via Bluetooth
This should also Work between Two Phones.
