shifting messages from one memory card to another

What phone will you be getting to replace the 6600? Some of the latest phones like the N70 have a transfer application. Otherwise if your new phone has a compatible memory card you could try...

Copying the mail to the phone memory of the old phone, then inserting the new memory card and copying the messages back across.

Kinda depends on your replacement handset though.
