Try setting your calls log to store only 1 days worth of info. This helped speed mine up a lot!

Also, try installing an application like Task Spy to see whats actually running and if you can compress the memory.

Try to install everything to your memory card to save as much RAM as possible for running applications with, and don't keep too much open at once.

Press and hold the menu button to see what you have open and keep itg minimum.
