Welcome to the forum Jonoboy. Take five minutes, and have a read of the faq, which is in one of the threads at the top of the forum. That should answer this question ("yes"😉 and a few others that you havent thought of yet!

Dont you guys think we should put up some very Obvious, attention grabbing notice on everypage, or an undertaking by new members when signing up, to search forums before posting Questions? :agrue:
PS: I had tried replying that query.. ( spent about 10 min..) and finally gave up!!

I'm with Sanjay on this one. Its dishartening to come back to the board in the morning and find a screen full of new threads, when half of them are just the same few questions asked over, and over, and over again.
Its not about giving newbies a break, because everyone here is more than happy to helpout someone, but sometimes the signal to noise ratio here is awful, and its going to get worse as more and more Series60 devices are released.

nice one rafe. i noticed the new message admin added everytime we make a post re: forum rules, it could be a good idea if you can add something like that which will tackle newbie questions. or better yet, right after clicking 'submit' they will get a prompt about this.
on one note, i really dont mind answering newbie questions, actuall i think its kinda fun. after all i used to be a newbie as well. 😃
maybe we should make sub category for 7650 and it will be
"Newbie Read here first"
in here there will be questions that are famous or the basic questions
so in the 7650 category there will be just advanced questions

i think this is the vision why they set up the FAQs, but the thing is nobody is checking 'em out before posting. :P
The problem is almost everybody is not looking anywhere except for the 7650 forum. Sometimes they give Q's about games or multimedia or obvious stuff that were just asked!
Guess everbody is really hyper to use their new phone fully 😃
