does n80 play protected/drm wma -definitive answer needed please

I'd like to play downloaded files from online music shops...

The N80 does definitely not play DRM protected WMA files.

If your protected files can be used to make real audio CD's (not just put the WMA files on them), then you can make such a CD and rip it to MP3s and then put the tracks on your phone.

This was a function that was meant to be in the device (I think - like the N91) . It disn't make it to shipping phones. I understand it may be included in a later firmware update.

But not yet (the currently available/selling N91s support WMA, but no Windows Media DRM). Presumably they'll be updated at some point (a new firmware release).
