Major N91 Problem — Nokia N91, N91 8GB and Nokia 3250

Hello All,

I have a horrible n91 problem. Every time I add more than one Song Album to my N91 and then click refresh it finds the correct amount of songs then just sits on the number forever. I have left it all night once and it was still sitting there with the little bar moving.

So I click cancel (as thats all I can do) then click on Artists and nothing is there! then I try clicking on refresh songs again and it does nothing it just sits there.

The only way to get songs again is reformat the HDD and put a single song on each time.

This is the 2nd phone that I have that is doing this as I sent the first one back faulty.

I have tried it in mass storage mode and pc sync mode using nokia music program with the same problems.

Any help would be great

This doesn't sound like Hard drive problem. Issue is with either Your firmware or application settings. Try resetting the phone to factory settings & see if that helps.

But I have tried both a soft and a hard reset and it still does it.

Sounds like it might be one particular song casuing this problem. How did you copy your music onto your device. Might be best to use Nokia's Music Manager or WMP.

You could try removing groups of songs at a time (e.g. same album and see if you can work out which one is casuing the problem).
