Erm... you might have problems with this because Linux is an operating system and Symbian S60 is also an operating system. You'd have to bypass S60 completely in order to run Linux I think.
It's a bit like asking for a Linux distribution that works on Windows.
yes I know my friend , but there are 2 ways to run Linux on a smartphone either directly to the hardware of Nokia N70 , or running linux Desktop alike emulator as an application either Midlet or sis file.
any Idea!?
thanx for your reply!

Ah yeah, I guess you could run it through an emu, just like an old video game.
Out of interest, what did you have in mind? Wouldn't it be better to port whatever program you want to run onto Symbian rather than trying to run it though an emulator?
I haven't seen anyone actually having got Linux to work on an S60 device tho as you say it should be possible. A couple of links that might be of interest in this case are - http://linux-7110.sourceforge.net/ Which is all about running Linux on the old 5 series / Revo Psions
http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/wtbu/wtbusplashcontent.tsp?templateId=6123&contentId=4750 Information about running Linux on the Texas Instruments OMAP 1710 processor which is the one used in the Nokia 6680/1/2 and 6630
I'd be interested to see if anyone gets anywhere with this
There's Linux on the TI OMAP 1710 based Nokia Internet Tablet 770:
