can anyone help me with the settings for hotmail on profimail as i cannot seem to get them to work. the application does but i donot have the correct settings for hotmail cheers

Bad news for you, there are no settings - Profimail will not work with web based mail accounts, ie Hotmail and Yahoo etc.
POP is supported only for Gmail. So you can use this option with GMAIL account only....
You can use Hotmail in version 2.5.1. Here are the settings:
Username: "Your Hotmail Account"
Password: "Your Password
Incoming Mail Server: mail.pop3hot.com
Outgoing Mail Server: cwmx.com
There you go, and that's all.
