Has anyone got any ideas as to what car holder I can use, I am not impressed with Nokia's tame effort of a universal holder.

I got one off ebay for just over a tenner with car charger, I'll dig teh details out later this morning(posting this from work where ebay is blocked)

Got the following one and it does the trick - attaches on to the air vents. Suits me as I don't want a holder nailed in / glued on to the dash.

I feel the same way about the universal holder, you pay a lot of money for the phone and they come up with the CR-39, daft as it sounds i bought one and it does not work with the phone, it will be going back !!
Firstly, as you clamp the phone it pushes the camera buton and turns the camera on, then when you exit the camera because the button is depressed the lights stay on the phone and drain the battery quicker than it already does
Secondly, it clamps the complete phone and you can't use the slide function without releasing the clamp. which you need to do if you are trying to access the answer phone.
Some good does come from this i have found out that www.brodit.com are releasing a passive holder over the next week, check out their website and look at the one they have produced for the nokia 6280 and this will give you an idea of what you will get as they are both slide phones.
