The dangers of a 7650 when drunk...

I was wondering how many people have found themselves in the same situation...

You get absolutely hammered on a saturday night out with your mates and decide to show off just how snazzy your new 7650 is, and connect to the web using webviewer and GPRS.

How to run over your 0.5mb in about 30 seconds! I used up not only this months data allowance, but for the next three months. o

Furthermore, having read about people looking for unsecure W-Lan access, I decided, in the aforementioned pub, to see if anyone had their bluetooth enabled. Have discovered that within 10m of myself, in the packed pub, someone did infact have their bt on... Cue more fun...
I loaded up WAP to download some 'interesting' pictures, and then sent a particularly grotesque one to the anonymous bt user in the vicinity.

Oddly enough, it seemed considerably more amusing at the time. Could have been the alcohol but I cant be sure. I expect our lucky recipient won't be going out with his bt enabled anymore!

So, if anyone has any other amusing stories, please share them here with all of us.

Spare a thought for those of us using t-mobile's (excuse for a...) service. 2 pence per KB? That's absolute madness... is anyone else paying over �20 per megabyte for GPRS?

my GPRS Package is unlimited! my provider doesn't care how much i use as long as they get their money!

Ah, but JyriK, the cost of the alcohol more than makes up for the savings on the GPRS.

Sadly though, I think i'd prefer the GPRS access -?

And people wonder why the UK is technologically behind so many nations in terms of technology pick up rates! I would happily pay �17 for unlimited, but t-mobile don't even give me the option!

I pay nothing for GPRS usage. I mean NOTHING. It's still free for us here in our beloved country. :P

LOL!, I know all about drinking and the 7650.....as i'm sure some of you will know.

Once it get's to pint No.7 then the phone becomes foreign and I have no idea what i'm doing. Last week I deleted all of my games, and took 38 pictures.......I can only remember about 13 of them.

Thats the good thing about the phone though, it helps you remember the night before when you have a few to many 😉

Oh, GRPS can become silly when out, esp when streaming some of the lovely content that Magic provided for Oplayo 😉 :roll:

I Really envy you guys with nothing or next to nothing GPRS charges :-?
I my usuall bills used to be about 400$. With great difficulty i brought it down ( just for a month 😃 😃 which was like 225$). Now thanks to 7650, its back to 400+ $ :evil: and almost half of it is from GPRS :evil: :evil:

Yup, the 7650 is definately a useful tool as a memory aid for the night before.

The pics I end up with are usually unfortunately just as blurry as what I remember!

(Boys, I think we need a hung-over smily!)
