Global Phones from Tigerdirect.com

Hey guys... I'm looking at this 6600 form tigerdirect.com. It's black which I like and only 209 as opposed to 250 from nokia.com. Only thing is that they say I might get one from another country in which case I might need a US AC adapter, and might have to reset the language to English... Is this a bad risk? Or is it relatively easy and not harmful to change the settings like this and such? There are no returns unless the phone is dead on arrival so yeah...
Here is the phone:

There are better phones to get. If you're US based a 6620 would be better than a 6600 (same model, but US variant). You might also consider the 6682 or one of the Nseries.

You should be OK with settings and such, but there's no 100% guarantee.

Thr 6600 is still available in the US from Nokia.com. And the 6620 is like 90 dollars more and white. Nseries are way expensive too...

In the case that I do end up getting my 6600 in a different language, what does it entail to change it to english?

I've searched this forum for "reset language" and my thread was the only one to come up. Any info on if it's difficult to reset languages to english?

If you put a US sim in it and the device supports english it will automatically switch to English. Other than that you can chnage it in the settings application.

If you're in the US consider some other retails options (e.g. hi-mobile.net) or one of the eBay sellers. myworldphone.com etc etc.

Thanks. I'll look into those retail options. They've got the 6600 at myworldphone.com. Is this will this be the US version?
