Smileys in SMS?

Me too!!! my wifes 6280 shows the smiley face if i send it... 😃 ends up as 😡 if i send from my phone to hers... shame!

I had phones years ago that included graphical smileys, I cant believe the N80 doesn't have them???

Anyone have any plugin suggestions?

No plugins. You'd have to do a new message handling/viewing application entirely (and it might be hard to override built-in functionality) + there's only limited documentation in the generally published SDKs (if you want to take a look, search for "MTM", and if you get the whole Symbian OS DevKit sources, then you'll get more complete code to show).
