Reset button for Sony Ericsson p910i

I need help. Somethings wrong with my phone. I was wondering if anyone knew where the reset button is for the phone. I can't use the LCD screen. How do I fix it? Please HELP. Thanx

try this phone formating process,

jog dial up, * ,down , down , * , down , *

you can see the service menus of your phone,choose menu 3 and it will format your phone..

Bmwkalyan's instruction works...I tried it.
With the flip closed...

  • Jog dial up
  • Press * key
  • Jog dial down
  • Jog dial down again
  • Press * key
  • Jog dial down
  • Press * key

You will get 3 options
[LIST=1]
[*]Information
[*]Service tests
[*]Service functions
[/LIST]

If you select 'service functions' it will ask you
"Are you sure you want to format your internal disk?" Yes or No.

:icon4: Formatting will delete all the contents of your phone, so you might want to back it up first.

Yeah, I reset it and everything is in Chinese. Any way to get it in English?

The reset sequence doesn't work on my p910i. Can someone please tell in what state the phone must be when entereing the reset sequence? I've tried with the phone switched on, before I've entered the pin code, after I've entered the pin code, when the power menu is displayed, etc, etc, etc. Nothing works. Any suggestions?

I just completed a reset like this and found that I had to remove the SIM card to get it to work correctly. As for the Chinese language, you have to go into the system setup third tab and I believe it is the 4th from the bottom, select this then choose the line with the least amount of characters. I believe it is two.

HI,
I HAVE A SONY ERCISSON P910i, AND MY LCD TOUCH SCREEN IS NOT WORKING? I TRY THE RESET BUTTON TO RESET MY PHONE. AFTER RESET MY PHONE, EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKING BUT EXPECT MY LCD TOUCH SCREEN ITS NOT WORKING? CAN ANYONE HELP AND SHOW ME HOW TO FIX MY LCD TOUCH SCREEN TO BE WORKING AGAIN! I TEST TRY ALL OTHER FUNCTION IT ALL WORK, EXPECT THE TOUCH SCREEN FUNCTION IS NOT WORKING!!!

I am having a similar problem which I believe to be caused by those settings (which determine the sensitivity of the touchscreen) having been corrupted or otherwise mis-set.
I assume these settings can be altered using File Manager from the PC looking at the P900. Does anyone know which settings should be examined and adjusted ?
