I'm a C/C++ programmer and have been asked to look into an idea for an application to run on Symbian. Basically we want to control the ringtone, to have a simple database of sound clips and access them in some given order, which may be predefined or possible calculated on the fly. Eventually we'd like it to react to the current location on a roaming network too.
I've never developed for a mobile device before so I just thought I'd try and get a heads up if this is possible before diving into the API and so on. Assuming this is possible I'm guessing that a simple demo wouldn't be too much work to set up ?
