How to Lock MMC ? — Nokia 6630, 6680, 6681 and 6682

Hi !

Ok i see some people here got problem with MMC Locked, but for me i'm looking for Password my MMC, for fight against Thief if one day i lose my MMC !

Find the "Memory" app in the phone menu, hit "Options" & then choose "Set password".

I think, however, that on the 6680 the option might not be there at all for some reason or another (in case that's the device you have).

I've got a Nokia 6680 and i can't set password on the Menu u told me :/

Then you're out of luck with that device, I think (unless there's a firmware update that enables that feature; I have no clue why it was removed/disabled on the 6680).

I have Flashed my phone Nokia 6680 with latest firmware : v5.04.07 but however the feature is not available :'(
Is there any driver or software to do that plz ?

Also on my N70 and 6630. Are you all sure you're looking in the right place?

No i'm not sure !
I go to Menu, Tools, Memory.
Then i press Options, i can't see "set password".

Wierd. What about if you try it with a different card inserted?

I tried with original card 64 Mb and still can't put a password neither to 256 Mb !

Nope, I can't do it either on my 6680. Looks like its the device that won't allow it. Got a third party 512mb card inserted.

Interestingly, I have downloaded a Mac OS Theme for my phone, stored on the MMC. Whenever, I open the memory card cover, the phone automatically reverts back to the standard Nokia theme, even before I've taken the card out!
