Can't select wifi / wlan connection on e61

Hello all,

I've just got my new e61, and the first thing I wanted to do after getting my contacts back was to use the wifi.

I set up my wireless lan details, complete with wep passwords etc, but for the life of me I can't work out how to make the browser want to use my wifi instead of 3g.

The major problem is twofold:

1) I can't "define access point" from the connection manager, because it tells me I have to set up WEP wifi in settings, which I have done.

2) When I run the browser, it just asks if I want to connect, not *where* I want to connect to.

I'm totally baffled - any help much appreciated.

Click on Web in the main menu>Settings>Access point chose always ask.

Now go back to web and connect again you will get list of the access points.😊

That did it - damn obscure option for something so simple!
