RS-MMC Card, XP & N9500i

Its me agian. I did format, with a multicard reader, my 512Mb rs-mmc , within XP. Now my Nokia 9500 Does not recognize the card.

I must reinstall lot of thing for next trip.

Help will be apreciated.!!!!!!

Try formatting it in the phone.

Hi ,

When you format on your PC make sure that you select FAT system only. The PC will normally format it in FAT32 which your phone would not pick it up.

Hi,

Have you formatted it on FAT or FAT32. It needs to be FAT only.

Also please make sure that you put the back cover on before checking as there is a micro switch which is activated only if the cover is on. If not the phone wont recognise the card.
