Imaging Management Tips

Thought we could share with each other tips we have with handling images taken with our Nokia N70/90. Many people complain how the Gallery is slow (mine gets slower and slower, even when I delete pictures, it seems).

First, how do you go about saving your pictures to your computer? I haven't been satified with Acrobate or the PC Suite image downloader. I pretty much just have the phone name files by date, copy them to the computer with the File Browser, and then have to sort them out myself. Anyone have a better way of doing this?

Second, leaving images on the phone. Do you leave images on the phone? If you use them as wallpaper, I noticed that they get moved to the Wallpaper directory, which makes organizing pictures a pain. :banghead: I also seen posts about how you can make a directory hidden so Image Download software and the Gallery don't see them, yet then I forget they are there.

If you have any tips about how you do your Image management, please share. I'm sure we could all use help on how to make our camera, gallery, image syncronization, etc. smoother. :eating:

Interesting post. PC Suite 'Store images' does a pretty good job of organising all my pictures and videos by date, and I always get it to delete items from the phone, otherwise I'd fill my card far too easily.

But, as you say, there's then a problem of what to do with the special pictures that you want kept on your device permanently for showing off to friends and family. Maybe a third party solution that keeps images in its own format that Gallery/PC Suite won't touch?

Anyone tried something suitable?
