I noticed that 'Documents' in the E61 won't open .doc files if they have any dots in their filename (apart from the obvious one) - in file Manager, you get a blue circle with question-mark in it next to the file until you take the dots out. so hellohappy.doc will be fine but hello.happy.doc won't open or be recognised.
