hi mates
I'm new to the forum, I tried to check if one of the posts mentioned one of my problems for not being repeatitive but the fact is:
bought a nokia 6680 from a friend, I used to have an N-Gage and just transferred all my programs from there, just amazing.
the back camera...
gosh, the back camera image is just something absurdly horrible.
both resolutions, with or without zoom is really bad.
but the front camera is just amazing, it's sharp and clear.
I mean... it's normal?
someone knows a good program to manage the camera?
It certainly isnt normal. Not sure what your problem is but the front camera is rubbish compared to the rear on mine so not sure how comes yours the other way around :con?

Wipe the vaseline off the back of the lens 8-)
Seriously, there's something very wrong here. Can you post your 'Settings' for image mode?

i use and recommend nokia phones since 2000 when i had my first one.
i can't believe they could release something like this.
i have sent both pictures for a server so you could have an idea.
i tried to focus the same thing (my keyboard) so you could have see how different it is, the back camera image is a total blur
check the handwriting on the paper under the keyboard

hi steve
well, settings are high quality for both cameras.
both of them saving on mmc (I dont think it makes any difference)
about the back camera both resolutions 1280 and 640 show the same thing.
I used to have a motorola V300 (please dont spread) and its camera used to work considerably better on daylight. tried doing the same with this now, it doesn't work. if you check the pictures on the previous post you'll see that it seems to be out of focus.
despite of the vaseline, lol, at first I thought it could be dirty so I removed the fascia and cleaned the lens with a wet cotton bud. I used a CD lens cleaning liquid. it didnt work.
any ideas? but please dont tell me to go to an authorized service, sometimes I think that I understand more about phones than them. everytime I go to these places they try their best to make me believe everything's working as normal and the truth is that I'm crazy. loool
Ouch. Horrible image. It looks like there's definitely a hardware fault. Is it still in warranty?
Steve
hi mates, thanks for help but...
I have just fixed the camera by myself
I took the fascia off and turned the lens case
it's just like a webcam, turn it untill picture comes clear
there are six marks around the thing to help you move it
also I have noticed that the image gets much better if you get rid of that plastic protection from the fascia - not recommended as the lens now has no protection when the lid is open - but as I'm not a nerd and I dont live in a perfect world lol...
check new pic
