Problems with restoring backup on N80

Today i've made a backup of my phonememory with the memorycard function. After i did that i formatted my phone and tried to restore the backup. That went well as the phone didn't show me any errors. However when i went to my contacts it showed " no contacts "

I have read the manual and the help-function built into N80 and it clearly says it makes a backup of the contacts and gallery etc.

So i tried to run the restore function of the backup again and it still didn't work. No contacts and no files restored in my gallery

A few minutes ago after i had setted the phone back to my preferations with profiles, contactgroups etc. ( took me half an hour ) i tried to make 2 new contacts, made a new backup ( containing those 2 new contacts ), erased the 2 made contacts and restored the backup. After restoring, it did show me the 2 new contacts i made

Does anyone know why it didn't work after i formatted the phone ( i did it with *#7380#) ??

Ermm it should have worked - bit strange actually - haven't seen that one before. It may be something was wrong with the backup?

I've never tested this though. You can also do a backup using PC Suite.
