Where can I get a nice and simple theme purposely build for the E61?

Not just compatible... but really meant for E61, cause I've tried those one for other symbian 3rd edtion compatible but doesn't fit that well.. and some more it makes the phone very slow in going from one screen to another =(

Thanks!!!!! thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!! this is the first theme that works well in my Nokia E61, thanks again.

Regards

Now this is a good theme that really fits the E61... I just wish that the signal & battery meter would use the default ones, its much more nicer But thanks a lot =)

Anyone got anymore themes that suits E61 perfectly are welcome to this thread

Hope you be fine and yes, you are right!!!! the default ones (battery and signal xtreght) are nicer, but nobody seems to use them in any theme :frown:
There is a sotware that its used to edit and make themes for series 60 3rd edition, you can get it in symbianthemes, but is very complicated (for me is hehehe) and also very slow (you have to have at least 1GB of ram memory in your pc, to work the software more or less)

Yes I've got the software, it does take some time to start up the application and I haven't really played around with it since I can’t open the Brush_Metal.sis to it. I just wanted to edit the theme so it would be using the default signal and battery indicator. The Brush Metal theme doesn't use a horizontal bar kind of indicator so it makes it harder to read precisely in my opinion.

But nevertheless I am still using it, I can live with its indicator… loved the theme overall, it matches the E61 silver color..

Hassan, have you got the Brush_Metal.tdf file? or does anyone?

Ok guys thanks for the feedback, i really want default one as well but i dont understand that why no body use them any more.

I found bit hard to understand that how many bars i do have, but batter then nothing😉

Go to:
Menu - tools - application manager - options - settings - install software (here you chose all) and thats it

Thanks for the brushed metal theme. I like it very much.

Would be even better if the battery and signal indicator is the original stripes instead of the blue bar. Stripes convey charge level a bit more clearer to read.

Iterestingly enough I got two errors installing this theme:

1) Certificate Unkown - Expected this one...and just said...ok, go ahead....
2) Application not for this Device. Continue Anyway? - Didn't expect this one...as this theme is suppose to be for the E61...but...continued anyway.

The theme looks nice. Good Job. I wish other themes were as nice...as for mobile9, the only usable theme I found (from a contrast and readability perspective) was OSCAR 2.

Now to try the theme software mentioned here...is it free? Will it work on my mac?

BTW: I don't have a PC. But the Nokia E61 is usable...I'm working on the Sync4J iCal module...I hope to get help in that area.. My Sync4J server is backing up my contacts/calendar on my Mac. But the files remain in XML. Any forum here disucssing SyncML?

Anyway...off topic...thanks for the theme!
