If your goal is to have a P800 ASAP then London is possibly one of the worst destinations you could choose.
Read this forum carefully for there are past trheads that shed some light on why this is the case.
so where do you think it will be in stores first ? ( besides sweden )
Maybee Italy (TIM branded) 15 December, 7-8.000 units for all Italy 799EUR, at least p800.it site administrator seams to be quite confident on this info.
does that mean that the TIM branded P800 will be network locked with Italian language installed only?
The word has been that it would be a *light branding* (because TIM wants to release it b4 Christmas and had not had the time to do a *proper* heavy branding) maybee as light as just a logo and GPRS pre-parametrization (overwitabble) of account trough TIM servers.
Personaly I think this super-light TIM branding is wishfull thinking on part of the participants of the p800.it forum...

Most mobile shops in the UK are saying Mid January etc
My local Carphone Warehouse said their rep visitied them a few days ago & said the phone should be available by the end of jan.

Now they're saying
"What's a P800?.....we sell phones"
Then procede to deny all knowledge of it's existance as they've been asked so many times 😃
Definitely ! I asked about P800 in our shops in Czech Republic and they don't know�what P800 is. But I called helpdesk SE and they said, that it will be available b4 christmas max early Jan. So we'll see 😉

By the way hasn't anyone got totaly fed up with waiting for it? I went out and brought a pocket PC instead. That was back when they said it was delayed until November, Thank god I'm still not waiting for it. I had been waiting since June... Come to think of it maybe they meant June 2003?

I know the feeling i've got a t600 in the mean time, that way i'll always have a small phone when i go out etc.

Acording to P800.it Italian GSM operator TIM is now testing the latest FW version from SE for the P800 that allows them to brand the device.
If all goes well the target date of 15Dec should be met with small volumes.
Only in Italy or in Europe???? Otherwise i'm thinking of taking a short travel to Italy (from Belgium) to get one!!! :angel:
