my panasonic x700 has 9mb ram, there is no way it would run Route 66 Mobile 7 if it did not have 9mb.

where do I email to get this corrected?
If I remember rightly (it's some time since I sold my X800) they both had a 16MB chip in them, so taking out 5 - 6 MB for the OS, you would indeed get about 9 - 10 MB RAM.
