Any coders out there?

My girlfriend has a SE W800i, and it has a very handle little app, Flashlight, which basically lets turns the camera flash on for either a minute, or permanently, or does the international SOS code in flashes. While I'm not likely to need the SOS flashes, I think that this capability in a phone with a built in flash is such a sensible one, I'm amazed it's not been done yet. The Old "Torch" app where the screen lit up never really stood up to a real test in my eyes. So - anyone out there who is up to the challenge?!?

Yeah, my mates Sharp (I think it's Sharp) phone does that......would be great if it was possible to make an app which does it for the N80, it is very useful 😊

I've posted on an another website, might put it on all of them! Someone out there must have a good idea of how to do it.

Its not as good, but you could use the video camera and switch on the light...
Not ideal and not too birght, but it works

Yeah, all it does is turn on the flash in the "night" mode of video. It needs to be as bright as when a picture is taken. I was comparing the W800i and the N80 lights in the dark the other night, and there's no comparison - until you take a picture and the N80 really lights up.

no, the light always comes on at the same intensity when videoing wether it is set to day or night.
