PEAP WiFi authentication; push email; SIP questions

Hi folks,
Sorry if answers to these questions have been posted before, but I have searched extensively to no avail. I'm considering upgrading from a 6680 to an N80, but three things aren't clear.

1) My office's WiFi network (an 802.11g one) uses 802.1x security with PEAP. I presume that the N80 will be okay with the 802.1x part because a colleague was attempting to connect with an E61 and I noticed 802.1x options in the Connection Manager. But will the N80 handle PEAP authentication?

This thread seems to indicate that LEAP and EAP might be supported in the latest firmware, so perhaps someone could clarify?

If it doesn't I'd be stuck with the office's public WiFi network, which is severely restricted :frown:

2) What push email options exist for the N80? I'm aware of Emoze but it isn't an option as I'm a Mac user (plus, I'd like to use the built-in S60 messaging app if possible).

Can I set up BlackBerry Connect on the N80, and can I do it regardless of my network operator? I don't want to change my contract (from Orange).

3) Has anyone been able to make a VoIP call on the N80 using the SIP client? I gather that it's technically possible on the N80 but I haven't come across any evidence of this!

Thanks in advance - this is a great forum, and I look forward to any answers!

1. Sorry I don't know what PEAP is. However if your colleagues E61 works I would imagine the N80 should be fine.

2. The ActiveSync solution does work with the N80, but is not officially supported. I imagine the same would apply to Blackberry, Seven etc. RoadSync will almost certainly release an N80 version.

3. The N80 does not have a SIP client, only support for SIP (i.e. it can reguster on a sip server, but not make calls).

Just thought I'd add this in case anyone else has the same query as me regarding PEAP authentication: I confirmed today that the E61 does indeed support it, so the N80 is sure to as well.
