Webviewer and Connecting thru Bluetooth
Hi, I'm really struggling to get this working too....
I just managed to get my bluetooth working properly. I have a Billionton USB adapter and I just downloaded Blue Manager 2.0 software(finally found the right one for me) which works great! 😊 PC-suite is working great too. And on my 7650 I've set up a new access point like it's described in an other thread(Bluetooth DSL). The access point works great on WebViewer, only problem is IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH JUST GPRS. So I still get charged for GPRS use... When I use this connection the Mrouter isn't reacting either, it displays an active bluetooth connection though, but not any activity.
So please help ppl, what am I doing wrong????
Thanks.

if u want try to delete ur GPRS configuration first then try again with the bluetooth with webviewer
but jot down ur GPRS configuration first
I've tried that, Pichu. I even deleted my e-mail settings. Everything.
But it still recognizes my GPRS INTERNET settings.... 😞
This is really strange!!!!
Every time I try to create a new access point and select data bearer to GPRS and Gateway IP address to 0.0.0.0, the 7650 recognizes it as the GPRS INTERNET settings provided by my operator!!! :x
And my phone isn't locked or anything...
Maybe a master reset is the only way to fix this problem?????
Or does anyone know of another Gateway IP address this bluetooth connection would work with??
Please help ppl, this is driving me crazy!!!!! 😮
Thanks.

Hello Darkstorm,
I had exactly that problem. Timeouts were terrible. It turned out to be my firewall (norton) was blocking the incoming traffic from the requireless proxy server. I fiddled about with it for the best part of a day, but was unable to create a rule to allow the proxy server traffic back in.
In the end, I removed norton, and installed the Kerio firewall, which took a matter of minutes to configure to allow mRouter (and other bits and bobs) out.
Good luck
Andy
Hey Thanks Ephebe!! 8)
Thats probably it! I got Norton Firewall running too, when I get home Im gonna disable it..(Im running Adsl thru NAT so I doubt if I need it anyway)
I can connect on my works machine which is XP also but I notice with Webviewer you still got to choose the Access point everytime you goto a different web Page, and theres a 5 second delay before it starts downloading anything

You're welcome! 😊
You do indeed need to select the AP each time, and it tries to make a GPRS connection before it tries mRouter, but it is free (the traffic not webviewer), and just about they only way to browse the web on the 7650.
Have you got WirelessIRC? That works through your bluetooth connection, and it has a nice little html viewer in it for it's help text. If you edit the help.html file and include a link to say the BBC, you can surf with that a bit quicker, but, the browser isn't anywhere as complete as webviewer.
Cheers

You're not wrong about the forum, its a fantastic repository of information.
It would be good if requireless could fiddle with webviewer, so that it is tweaked for a bluetooth connection. Might not do it though, since it would be a mod for the 7650 alone.
When I edited the help.htm file, I did it on the PC, though I dare say that you would be able to do it natively on the phone. I think SeleQ has a built in text editor. Maybe you could rename the file to help.txt and edit it that way. (maybe you dont need to rename it?).
All good fun!

How do you browse your Phone with PC?
Im using BlueManger 2.0 XND Connect will send/receive to phone but not browse the folders. Also Nokia Suite will only show me the images etc
Cheers! 😊
I think that he sent the file to PC, edited it, and sent back to phone.
Browsing phone with PC is impossible still.
