hiii guys

im a new member and this is my first post

I have a problem with 3250 software which is SExplorer

when I tried to access C:/ files there is an error messege appear

(Unable to execute file for security reasons)

What should I do?? can somebody find out the problem??

also one thing,, Is there SeleQ software compatiable with 3250??

thank you

No seleQ is not compatiable.

Have you tried using the inbuilt file manager (in the Tools folder I believe).

the trouble is the built in file manager aint that good.

Is there any 3rd party file managers in the pipeline does anyone know.

Thanks

Yes, but there are issues with PlatSec that make them harder to implement. They need access to the allDevices API I believe which is one of the most restricted. The reasons are obvious - you're not really meant to poke around in the /system folder!

Not the "allDevices API" [ there is no such API 😉 ], but an app would need the "AllFiles capability", which isn't readily given to any application, hence no file manager apps that can access everything (any longer, on Symbian OS 9 based devices, and later).

thank u guys for quick respone

it is seems from your posts there is on solution for my problem.

But it is possible for the comming days there will be such software that have

the capability to access these restreted folders????

Im really wondering if new SeleQ for 3rd serise will show up

because I have used it in 6600 and that one of powerful tool to manage system file
